Thanks for doing F Secure. My ISP is now offering it in place of McAfee. Been using W10 security for over a year, but always looking at new alternatives.

Based on my personal testing, F-Secure can detect and stop unknown ransomware early, but it cannot prevent one or two files from being encrypted, nor can it restore them. This would explain the result you obtained by executing many ransomware samples. Cheers!

So far Kaspersky has met all those requirements, but I feel uneasy having a Russian based product protecting my entire household.
