Had a zester for long, used it once with method 1, didn't like the result so I tucked the zester away in storage box.
Tried it again today with method 2, really liked ur method. My zester is staying ut of storage box now.

I’ve always heard of it but we don’t use this technique in dishes in our culture. Is the zest the skin? Why do it? What would you use it for?

The right way to zest a Lemon 🍋 is hold a grater and scrape it to make a Lemon 🍋 zest.
