Gideon's Horn - Triumphant Command (full demo, 2023)

Released through Northern Doom Records, the label which brought us the excellent punky folk of Heáfodbán comes Gideon's Horn – a collaboration between UK and US members, playing a unique Yiddish blackened kletzmetal.

Kind of the anti-GBK, the tracks are as combative and saturated in religious mythology as the most orthodox of black metals should be, dealing with holy civil war and the fall of Jericho, delivered through klezmer-inspired riffs and blackened heavy metal.

This is great. Many of us have been waiting for another band to sound like GBK - and here we are. I wish I could say I will stop listening to GBK, but that would be really difficult. Looking forward to more of what Gideon's Horn put out! :)

Taking back racist music and reappropriating it for more safer purposes will never not be based and awesome in my mind. First Grenadier, now this! In fact, this is better than GBK will ever be IMHO.
