Great find and that too of a XWD in a super rare color. That is one of the best engines ever. Mine did close to 400k KM and never failed me. Did have to replace the expansion tank twice. A new GM tank opened on the seam just week after install. I would replace the T going to the turbo for coolant. I would also replace the cooling fan control unit as well as both fans. At 350k KM i took the alternator apart and found the brushes 90% gone. Replaced the brushes along with the rectifier. The timing chain guides were replaced at 300k. I replced the tchain cover gasket and found them broken by chance. With any machine, preemptive maintenance is key especially with a turbo; hotter running engine. Would be great to get a Tech2 scanner. Best of luck.

The ECM is bad, injector circuits firing off is almost always the ECM. I know you mentioned it in the video, just putting it here in case anyone asks.

TDI engine is better than petrol. Had both, two examples of each. Diesel wayyy better
