As much as this plot is full of holes, Sir Ben Kingsley was perfect as the Hood, as was Bill Paxton as Jeff Tracey (RIP). That line ‘No we won’t…. The thunderbirds will….’ Just sums up the character, brilliant delivery.

Never thought of this before but despite Virgil being the pilot of thunderbird 2 in this movie just like in the show, he never actually pilots it in this movie as far as we know. In the beginning at the oil rig it’s Jeff and Virgil is the one on the rescue platform and then later in the movie it’s either the hood or Alan... the only time Virgil is probably the one flying TB2 is the scene when TB 1 2 and 3 fly over the bank of London considering Jeff is probably piloting TB3.

I found it weird how in the movie they made Brains middle aged when in the original show he was meant to be in his early or late twenties

Its brilliant how the London crowds from 2065 look totally unlike people from 2004. I think by this stage in the movie I was glad I didn't bother going to the cinema to see this travesty.

The VFX on all the craft are surprisingly good for most of the movie, but the shot of TB3's separation starting at 0:42 looks weirdly unfinished.
