Thank you my dear friend!
I had this issue during my first job days where I was working in an MNC and we were supposed to speak with the customers in American accent because they were our customers which was fine with me but our manager expected us to speak in American accent during internal meetings and I was not convinced with it.
As long as we are able to communicate with the person in front of us it doesn’t matter what accent we have.
Only Indians are conscious about it and we are too worried to please the west.

Accent matters a lot because each language has its own accent, so the accent for English American is perfect.... and British is also fine, but I like American
