Nature-based Solutions (NbS) can contribute to over 30% of cost-effective CO2 global mitigation targets by 2030. According to the World Economic Forum (WEF), NbS can also unlock $10 trillion of business opportunities and create 395 million jobs by 2030.

Our virtual event on NbS featured speakers who shared their experience on the application of nature-based solutions (NbS) to provide long-term social, ecological, and economic benefits.

Co-hosted by the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) and the China Council for International Cooperation On Environment and Development (CCICED), this high-level webinar fostered discussion of the evidence of NbS for biodiversity, climate change mitigation, and adaptation outcomes.
