Beautiful Nature books for children - Our favorite Living Books!
Показать описание
Hi everyone! In this video I show you a glimpse of the most beautiful books in our collection. These are nature based non fiction books with stunning illustrations. Living books are usually written by experts in the field, and are not only educational but also inspiring.
All the links are below, along with some articles on living books and how to find them.
I hope you are inspired to read some of these to your little ones.
I mentioned Poetry Tea time as a Charlotte Mason concept, but it was introduced by Julie Bogart of Brave Writer, and is a wonderful way to start appreciating poetry with younger children.
Links to all the books:
1. Autumn by Gerda muller:
2. An Egg is quiet by Dianna Hutts Aston
3 A Nest is Noisy by Dianna Hutts Aston
4. A Seed is Sleepy by Dianna Hutts Aston
5. A Rock is Lively by Dianna Hutts Aston
6 Sing A Song of Seasons
7. The Big Book of Bugs by Yuval Zommer
8. The Big Book of Birds by Yuval Zommer
9. Robins! How they grow up by Eileen Christelow
10. Julia Rothman collection: (each book is available separately, I think Nature Anatomy is the most useful)
11. Ocean Anatomy
12. Botanicum welcome to the museum
13. Planetarium welcome to the museum
14. Migration: Incredible Animal Journeys by Mike Unwin
15. Sky Tree by Thomas Locker
If you would like to check out all of our favorite things on Amazon, here's my page, where I've added links to books, toys, etc that we love and use!
If a book is older, I usually find used copies at a great price on Amazon, and I would recommend checking if your local library has them as well.
Do leave a comment below if you have a beautifully illustrated book that you love, your suggestions are always so helpful!
A little about me:
I'm Vidya, a mom to a 4 year old little boy. When I'm not talking about rockets and stepping on Legos, I make videos about pregnancy and new mommyhood. I would love for you to join me on this journey!
