Dr. Martens Jadon Max | Unboxing, Try-On & Styling! (Plus Size)

I bought my pair off the Urban Outfitters website in a size 9, but currently they are no longer available/out of stock there. I wear a women's size 9 in platform vans, chuck 70s and air force ones for reference. I find that if I wear a thin sock my foot has a bit of room to knock around inside the boot (my feet are kinda normal, not narrow and not wide). If I wear a very thick sock my foot fits pretty perfectly in the boot.

I wanted to style the boots in a way that I would actually wear in my daily life:

Outfit 3 // Shirt - Target, Skirt - CutieKill
Outfit 4 // Jacket - Thrifted Levis, Shirt - Uniqlo, Skirt - Thrifted Briggs New York

Hiii, I have a couple of questions I was thinking about getting these doc martens and I am a size 9 so my question to you is should I get my actual size which is a 9 in women or should I get an 8 in women ? and my next question is are they comfortable with socks or without socks to wear all day ? if you do wear them without socks . & My next question is do you have room in these jadon max doc martens or are they a tight fit ?
