I got this SSD for my 9 year old laptop for its HHD replacement, while yeah even though the writing speed is not what it advertises, the pc repair guy told me the Kingston SSD still does its job like any other ssd. So imo Kingston A400 SSD is a great SSD for old laptop storage upgrades.
