This why I agreed when my husband told me he didn't want a funeral or memorial. I did make him tell his family so I wouldn't feel pressured. We did have a blood drive in his memory, but no dog and pony show. He's been gone 10 years... and I'm still grieving... still tear up at stuff like this. I can't wait to join him. I'm just so tired.
