think he’s both tbh, he’s a legend for us cus he’s won everything and been a key part of that success but at the same time madrid have knocked us out the UCL most of the years since trent joined so it’s a bit like a can’t beat them join them scenario.

I think he’s a legends personally as Liverpool fan and what these Liverpool fans are doing is just too much he won every trophy for us and is considered one of footballs best modern day RB but it does feel more painful to lose a homegrown talent than a normal player but treating him like this is pretty bad.

Trent didn't want to extend his contract because he wanted the Real Madrid move. But Liverpool could have sold him in January to them as they did offer for him, but they rejected so it's the clubs fault for not getting money for Trent.
