I like this feature, but you cannot lock everything like the settings app!

I can see a use for this if the phone gets stolen while it’s open. Sensitive apps can be locked. Banking apps often have this but my onedrive with client info would be great to lock

But won’t it let you put in the passcode after a failed or two failed attempts trying to use your Face ID?

Between now and Octoberish, lots of beta testing. When then release date, will ye stay on 17 or go 18? There's no falling back to 16 etc.

You have to unlock phone anyway to see even app? What is the purpose?

I probably will, just because I was given basic cyber security training when I was in the military so I still have a lot of habits from that that I still use. This would definitely be something I’d recommend if anyone keeps things like PII or something similar on files or whatever.

I dont hand my life (phone) over to other people. And well you need my face already to just unlock the phone and get to the mail app. Seems over like but for people hiding stuff significant others that check their phone and don’t already trust them. (probably for a reason already) then I guess they will like this feature.

I like this feature since I let kinds play games on the phone. One more way to keep your data safe.
