With Patrick Stewart being in his 80s still acting, you can see Hugh acting as Old Man Logan while a new younger actor or AI de-aged Logan can be used.

He can be Old man Logan in the MCU. Even still has his children X-23, Dakken, James Howllet, Honey Badger stay on after he dies again or maybe seal h I'm adamantine like the comics

Nah dude ain’t staying permanently, he’ll probably pop up now on then, a few more times before he passes the torch to a new actor that will place mcu’s wolverine. He pop up in secret wars, but that will probably be it for him after that.

well the genius Kevin Feige did not want Jackman back. I think he was pressured by not only Ryan Reynolds but higher ups to bring Jackman back because the fans love him. However I still think it's possible someone else will be kinda waiting in the wings to take over should Hugh change his mind and I do think its one of those rumored people. Egerton or Daniel Radcliff.
I doubt it would be Henry Cavill as it may be a while before Hugh gets tired of the role and Caville would be better suited to be added in early in another role.
