Testing which Aircraft can perform a Cobra Maneuver!🐍 #warthunder #gaming

Tutorial for cobra and kvochur bell (pin so everyone can see this):

*Cobra:*

1. Assign a button for "toggle control mode", if you're on console, you also have to assign a button for "pitch axis" and "yaw axis"

2. Toggle control mode 3 times, you should see "control mode: full" on the bottom of the screen

3. Go to ~500-700km/h

4. Now just pull up, if done correctly in the right plane, you should do a cobra

5. Toggle control mode 1 more time to recover (if you don't you might fall out of the sky like a rock)


*Kvochurs bell (also works as flatspin tutorial I guess):*

1. Assign a button for "toggle control mode", if you're on console, you also have to assign a button for "pitch axis" and "yaw axis"

2. Toggle control mode 3 times, you should see "control mode: full" on the bottom of the screen

3. If on a plane rank 1-5, pull up, roll in the direction you want to kvochur, and then rudder in the opposite direction

If on a plane rank 6 and above, do the same thing but rudder and roll in the same direction

4. Toggle control mode 1 more time to recover (if you don't you'll enter in a flatspin)


Do note that these require alot of practice to perform, and aren't that good in dogfights. But they do look cool do

They nerfed tf out of the J35 man, also the Su-27 before the update it can do the cobra without full control

funny how the J35 was the first aircraft ever capable of the cobra maneuver but in game the flight model hardly allows it

To get a draken to cobra first time set up your full real controls to also set trim to 100 and -100 when you press your pitch up and down key (and you need to be at the right speed below 600km/h)

You can do a cobra in the f 14 b but you have to manually pull the wings in before or it wont work only delta wings can pull off the cobra

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, you do not need to reach and AOA higher than 90 degrees, this is a myth, the definition for a cobra manouver is as follows “a state of controlled stall induced by a hard pitch up movement actuated by the pilot in command, the aircraft must maintain a pitch upward and an angle of attack high enough for the wing to act in a way that reduces speed at a rapid rate”

It becomes more feasible to do cobra for most planes as the speed goes up... Even many tailess compound deltas can do it above mach 1, what's actually impressive to see if a plane can do it in stall level speeds...
THAT'S actual beauty of a cobra or a kvochur's bell.
