Giannis could have played back then for sure, but the Bad Boys are one of those teams that are a problem for anyone no matter how good you were. They would have given him fits too. Mahorn and Laimbeer were also massive and they knew how to get in your head. That's not counting Rodman and what he would do.

The modern era wouldnt be what it is without the past era. Put Giannis in the 1980s, he wouldnt be what he is now. He would've look like most big men of that era with similar skill sets.

If only giannis had a good shooting touch.. Man he'd be the next unanimous best player in the league after Bron retires. Currently I think of all players in the league, Wemby clearly has the highest ceiling and potential. Luka and Jokic are great, but they ain't look like the dudes who are gonna last 10-15 more years.
Ant man is great as well, got the Kobe-Jordan build, just gotta show that he can win to be in that conversation.

It can really go both ways for him. Either he thrives off of the physicality and just fits right on in. Or it could backfire. With way less emphasis on 3pt shooting threats, more people are gonna clog the lane/paint and be ready for Giannis when he's tryna feast on somebody one on one or in transition.
