The 4 different USPS Virtual Entry Assessment Tests are:
- Virtual Entry Assessment – MC (474) for Mail Carrier jobs
- Virtual Entry Assessment – MH (475) for Mail Handler jobs
- Virtual Entry Assessment – MP (476) for Mail Processing jobs
- Virtual Entry Assessment – CS (477) for Customer Service Clerk jobs

All 4 Postal exams contain the following three sections:

3. Describe Your Approach

The 475 and 476 assessments also contain the Check for Errors section, while the 477 exam has a distinctive section called Work Your Register.

Response A: In this response, you offer your help to your coworker in a covert manner by suggesting that she come to you with any questions she may have. wish i saw this before i took the assessment, i answered realistically instead of lying to get a perfect score, but i guess they prefer people lying for a good score lmao

Watched this video and passed with a 99% right after. And what’s funny is I used to be a postal employee and half of this shit is so not true. Older employees especially did not want to be bothered or talked to and would yell at you for helping them 😂.

It’s funny how many people think you’re ever supposed to answer honestly on tests like these. They never want honest. If you’re applying as an employee you’re supposed to be the biggest kiss ass suck up “team player” that never has any bad days. If you are applying for a management position you are supposed to be the biggest narcissist, not give a shit about anything your employees have going on in their personal lives, and always keep company profit in mind. That’s for any big company I’ve ever taken one of these types of assessments for.

Being a normal, honest, decent human won’t get you hired.

Watched this video while during the test after a few moments i took my time to read, react and answer and at the end i scored a 97% Thank you for everything 🙌

I really wish I knew there were videos like this out there before I had taken the assessment. I literally just finished it and I got curious about it, so I started Googling. Thank you for this. Hopefully, I passed my exam. Otherwise, I'm saving this video for future reference.

I failed the assessment. Then didn't even get a score. I don't understand how I failed. I mean I am more than qualified for the job. I am shy, but that doesn't mean I'm a horrible person or incompetant. I'm extremely disappointed and now have a bit of a grudge that a human won't even consider my application after AI won't give me a certain score.

This test is so weird, no wonder the USPS is always hiring and saying they need people because very few people can even pass the test. So I live in Oregon and I was always getting papers in the mail saying we are hiring from the USPS and they would have a few job fairs every month so I decided to go and apply and I just the test a couple days ago, I just wish I saw this video before I took my test because I didn't pass. I got all the mail sorting and the check for error questions right but I guess that's all I got right. They say be honest with your answers but they really mean lie to us.

This is a strange test. The answer options seem to weigh between (be efficient or pass the buck) It turns out that USPS prefers (pass the buck)

From the videos I saw a lot of the questions seemed to be "Stay focused on your own task and save time OR help a customer/colleague solve a problem" which does USPS prefer? I personally stay focused on my task

I personally think the test is mostly useless, because aside from the personality portion, they can train you how they want you to respond to all the scenario questions. 🙄

There's a bunch of jobs avaliable in my area right now, so even if I don't get hired it's not a big deal. But honestly the position I'm applying for seems very suitable for the type of person I am. I'd love to get paid to sort things. I've played video games where I do that for fun lol.

The expectation is different from reality. Before I apply for CCA heard a lot about poor management, overworked and underpaid. These are all true!!!
