Zenni Glasses Reviewed: A Look At Selection, Quality, & Rewards Programs

As of this review, Zenni has more than 1000 pairs of glasses listed on its website. While there is great variety, the prices remain very accessible compared to other sellers, either online or in-store.

Recently, I placed an order for many different styles of frames from Zenni (pictured in video), and the average price came out to $26 per pair.

After selecting the frames you want to buy on Zenni's website, you can make an account to which you'll upload a prescription and which remains saved on the account. The next step is to select the lenses, at which point you'll have many options. Depending on your prescription, desired type of lens, or lens finish, the prices can vary and significantly increase the cost of the glasses.

Zenni allows you to pair sunglass lenses with most, if not all, frames, and they offer a number of different types of sunglass lenses, including mirror finish and gradient finish.

Generally, you should give Zenni about 2 weeks to get your new glasses to your door. With this latest order, it took about 10 days for my frames to be delivered.

Considering the affordable price point of Zenni's glasses, it's normal to wonder about the quality of the frames and the lenses that they sell.

In my experience, I've found Zenni's glasses to be very sturdy. I've tested different types of frames as well as many different lens finishes and have yet to have a pair break or for the lenses to scratch easily. I must mention that I don't wear any single pair too often as I have a large collection. Yet, overall I think Zenni offers great value for the price paid.

Zenni frames are shipped in a plastic glasses case and include a polishing cloth and a pupillary distance ruler. While a bit bright in color, the Zenni case is quite functional for protecting the glasses when you're not wearing them.

Zenni's referral program awards referrers and those they invite a $5 credit when a purchase is made.

Zenni's rewards program is multi-tiered, depending on how much you've spent:

- $99+ spent
- $66+ spent

It's probably evident by this point that I'm a fan of Zenni given how much value they provide, at least to me. My prescription is rather basic so this helps to keep the cost of my glasses down, though this may be different depending on your prescription. Overall, I highly recommend Zenni as they allow me to buy many different glasses and sunglasses styles to try out without breaking the bank.

My mother just received her first pair of Zenni’s today and she’s loving them. I’m so happy for her because we were about to spend almost $500 for her glasses that’s with insurance and it was about $400 without insurance. Make it make sense. I have a pair of Zenni sunglasses purchased 2 years ago. One of their better acetate frames, spring hinges, progressive lenses, polarized, inscribed with my name inside one temple. Zenni has been great, cheap enough to try different styles and options- including sunglasses. The case and cloth included with every pair is also a great bonus. The rewards program is pretty nice too, as well as the sales

Got my first pair of glasses ayer almost 40 years on this earth. Wish I would have paid the extra $50 for my insurance to pay for transitions.

Now I'm going to give Zenni a chance and order a fairly cheep self tinting glasses at about $40 all in. Maybe a little more of I get the anti scratch coating. Then if they are decent quality I will deff be buying a couple more pair just to change up style.

Zenni does have a huge selection of diff lenses. From name brand to budget. Clear, self tinting and sunglasses that are in the mirror tint, gradient, etc. And all in multiple colors. Many diff coatings for any and all needs you might have.

It just seems to good to be true. But worth a try. Heck, you can get prescription glasses for like $10 of you just want basic

Thanks for the information. I've found that their XL selection is very low. Do you find that to be true as well? Also, would a Large fit someone with about 140 mm frame?

I now own 12 vooglams prescription glasses lol 🤣 1 Zenni optical coming 1 fytoo coming lol 🤣 i own a few that tint outside some blue light blocking and no fancy add ons lol 🤣 i love 1.61 lenses always and always get anit reflective coatings i have to no coatings drive me nuts lol

I'm concerned about quality of their progressive lenses. That's where quality can vary a lot between suppliers. Anyone found a scientific review of their lenses?

I am a bit nervous that if I order my prescription lenses on zenni, my prescription might be messed up. That is my only concern that's blocking me from ordering prescription lenses online. Have they ever gotten your prescription wrong.

Received my glasses today and they are totally wrong. Came with bifocals in lenses and I've never had bifocals. So very dissatisfied! Would not recommend this company.
