This was the last game me and my grandpa played together before he lost his voice. i can still remember him saying "dont shoot the merchant god dammit!"

I remember playing this game in college during some of the darkest times of my life. No money, no energy, just barely scraping by in class, no confidence to get a job. Often went several days without eating due to lack of money. Parents were going through a horrible divorce, yelling, screaming, and crying. Dad smashed my guitar to pieces in a fit of rage one day. I'd lock myself in my room and play this game, and it would transport me to a foreboding yet beautiful world where I actually had some control over things. This game provided me the only happiness I had back then. My favorite game of all time.

This song brings me back to 2010. My dad would play this game when he got back from work and id watch him and we'd talk. That was such a simple time, would do anything to go back to when I was like 10 years old and the only things on my to do list were school, homework and play re4 with dad. This song is so soothing and I remember sometimes I would fall asleep watching him play and I'd wake up to Leon standing in the save room and him at work.

My cousin just died today. He was closer to me than my own brother. This was one of his favorite games of all time. We used to sleepover and play this game until the sun came up. back in summer 05 and 06. Rest in peace cousin. I miss you already. See you in heaven.
