In a world where media surrounds us and fills our daily lives, it’s easy to get caught up with online networks and bite-sized pieces of junk information. However, Joanne Kwok shows us the importance of interacting intelligently with media, and finding our own unique voices amidst the cacophony of virtual noise.

Joanne’s journey as a creative soul can be described as an adventure fraught with challenging expectations, staying true to her passions and finding her place in the wide world of media and communications. Versed in advertising, branding and creative communication, Joanne currently hails from creative agency Yellow Octopus.
When she is not writing, Joanne can be found reading on public transport, speaking at youth conferences, or building her social media presence. She also fronts The “I Still Have a Dream” Project, a social campaign that encourages young people to pursue their passions and has led to collaborations with TEDx Singapore and The School of Thought.
