Anytime I hear someone unironically say "watch this til the end", I immediately scroll away. Make good content and you won't have to remind your viewers to watch til the end every 5 seconds.

There are basically 2 types of eruptions, red and grey both yielding different types of volcanoes. The one that yields red hot lava you can see, especially in broad daylight, comes from shield volcanoes like Mauna Loa and typically produces low silicate and low gas lavas. In this case, this is a stratovolcano called Mount Mayon in the Philippines and this kind of eruption is what is known as a grey eruption as indicated by the plumes it produces. Stratovolcanoes typically produce high silicate and high gas content lavas. This is mainly due to its location likely to be near a tectonic subduction zone. The grey clouds are produced because the volcano is trying to squeeze out highly viscous lava at very high pressures, because of those gases, through a small opening. Technically, while the plume is red hot, you will be unlikely to see its true colour except when it's dark.

Lava is less a worry than a pyroclastic flow.
