I have to say, that this video is pure clickbait!

Many things are not true: We are not supporting visa and the number of applicants in Luxembourg is very high. I have been working in Germany before, and there are 3-4x more applicants in Luxembourg.

Ca. 80% of the applicants are from outside the EU and need a visa sponsorship. So, you guys are having a very very strong competition. No company, that supports visa sonsorships, asks us to find people that need it, because we cost a proper amount of money to that company. So, I suggest, applying directly to the companies and not to agencies. And prefer big companies before small ones, because it’s more likely that they support visa.

And it is simply not true, that any employees are demanded in Luxembourg. The demand is mainly for finance- and IT-positions. I am not working in the hotel business but I cannot imagine, that they do a visa sponsorship for people that do not speak the local languages. But better you ask directly at the hotels.

We are really struggling from a huge amount of job seekers from outside the EU, that even do not fit. I strongly recommend to apply, where the chances are higher. Other countries have a stronger labor shortage that also includes other jobs than IT, finance or engineering. If someone writes me directly here for searching a job, I will ignore it. I am sorry for that, but we do not have the capacities.

I understand your wish to get here, but do not believe everything someone is posting on youtube. Furthermore, the life quality isby far not as amazing as you might think, and life is very very very expensive here. You will spend easily 70% just on rent. And also the food is more expensive than almost everywhere else. And you will need a car, because it is not urban at all (forget the free public transportation. The city is covered but most people live on the countryside, and the city is even more expensive). We are not the happiest people in Europe, lol.

I am eagerly going through the list, however, I am in Africa right now, and it appears that Greenfield does not hire from outside Europe and EMEA.
