I finally set this up - your steps really helped a lot.
After setting it up, I tested it. On a phone, the "View Products" button shows quickly where you noted in your video at 3:20. On my computer, however, there is no button. I scrolled through the description box and don't see anything there about "view products" or anything else regarding products or shopping. Have you tested this on your videos on a computer? Where is the shoppable link? Thank you!

Too bad it's only for the US. I was wondering why I couldn't find the feature. I currently have my own merch shop connected. Do you think the affiliate program from YT works better than a personal merch shop? For one, the set prices of the merch are a bit high. Secondly I often can't tag the product as the list of available tags is limited to the amount of merch we created and more than often it doesn't feature the one shown in the video. This list is ever changing and I don't seem to have much control over which one YT offers for my picking. This affiliate program seems to have more options and variety. Hopefully it will roll out to other countries too, it seems like I'd make the switch.
