Got hired 3 weeks ago. Just blocked the associated numbers and keeping the knives. Got me fucked up

I did it for 4 days, after initial training, hated training, hated the manual, like the knives, the group meetings gave off the feeling of pressure to approach everyone, immense pressure to sell. It made me feel really sleazy so I quit

nobody is saying the knives are a scam . the scam is directed towards the prospective employees via the phony interview and job listings they post...not the customers and end users of the product. if it werent a scam, why dont the job listings and websites just say OUTSIDE SALES - KNIVES - COMMISSION ONLY ??

I don't like the way they recruit. They call themselves "Vector Marketing", which makes them sound like a marketing firm and not a kitchen knife sales company. They put ads in the paper talking about business opportunities with no description that it's sales. Then they have their intro and one-on-one interviews, where everyone is accepted ("Don't tell anyone else!").

How is this crap still around? Why would you work so hard to make 100 bucks a week?

YO i really hope you see this, your manager said the handles were made by the guy that designed the porsche seats, mine told me they were designed by the guy that designs lamborghinis.

I just started on friday and I actually dont hate it so far despite being hesitant. I've done 3 demos now and made a sale on my 3rd demo and I have 3 more demos tomorrow. I'm only doing this part time and dont expect to be doing it for too long but I'm enjoying the experience since itll add to my resume and give me practice in the working field

I fell into the CutCo scam recently. I stupidly decided to go to both training days and the entire time it felt wrong. I wish I would’ve done my research beforehand but it was my first ever job interview/training so I assumed that I was just being unfairly suspicious. Really makes me sad to know that countless other people are gonna get duped without knowing any better.

I been there 5 years working extremely part time as I am a college student making upwards of 4k a month. Selling, not doing management maybe doing 5 appts a week during school and 20 a week during breaks. You just can't be allergic to hearing no, I definitely wasn't making that kind of money right off the bat but after the first month and a half I got pretty good. Most people just do 10 push ups and expect to have results but they don't realize the results come from doing 10 push ups everyday.

is a scam because they hide the fact that you have to sell these items to your friends and family

I literally just had an interview and walked out of a 2-9 PM training session with a guy named Nate Davis. It was just...odd to me. So I left.

Turns out I may have dodged a bullet

I don't have any respect for them, since they lie to me. They told me it would be a receptionist job, and then when I got there, they said I would be selling door to door. The funny part was how everyone was staring at me when I got there, like I was their rival. I excused myself during the first round of interviews, since they lied to me

I legit lied on my application about my birthday and said that I was 17 (really 15.) One of the managers called me to ask if i was 17, and I almost freaked out and gave myself up. He just wanted me to lie on my application and say that I was 18 so that we wouldn’t have to do the extra paperwork. 😭.

My manager pressured me so much to stay I ended up telling him I had to take care of my dying grandma so I could quit.

I love this video. I just started and this is the most accurate thing I've seen. Also to note, the script hasn't changed one bit
