This is uncomfortable for some, but just seems to come naturally to others. I have been on both sides and experienced it every way you can think of. You know what works best when negotiating with service companies? Honesty. Relate-ability. Empathy. Negotiation doesn't have to be hard, and really, should NEVER be hard. You already share a common interest, the only thing left to figure out is how you;re going to accomplish that together. And if you both are truly working towards the same thing, then that should be too difficult. Be upfront with your objective, ask them theirs, and have an actual conversation about how you both can align those to ensure a lasting partnership. That's it. Do not negotiate with fear, do not undermine, and do not try to flex your power. That's when relationships are manifested that have ill-intentions. On either side. Thanks for watching!!
