Vegetas pride was shot by literally all the main villains throughout Z, GT, and Super. The amount of ass beatings this man has gone through in his adult lifetime since arriving at Earth, I'm surprised he still has pride left.

In those 2 moments, vegeta's pride wasn't just hurt. It was shattered which is why he started crying against frieza and gave up fighting after cell died. He basically lost his pride altogether in those moments.

If vegeta's pride just gets hurt, he'll probably destroy you. Like he did in the saiyan saga and decided to use his galick gun to destroy the planet since goku was outpacing him.

The first time he did that was actually in the Saiyan Saga when Goku manhandled him using the Kaioken. He was ready to blow up the planet with him on it just to get back at Goku for the humiliation

I’d say those were times when his pride was completely dashed. When they were merely “hurt” would probably be times like Goku’s power surpassing his on Earth, or losing that whole fight, or the same with Android 18 and most notably, his Majin Vegeta moment. There was also the anime adding scenes where he had nightmares of Goku and Trunks being SSJs or when he went looking for Goku in space.

See the difference is, in those parts Vegeta truly believed all hope was lost. He believed he would never be stronger than Frieza or Goku so he gave up. But if you take it back the saiyan saga after Goku bruises Vegeta's pride, he does in fact immediately try to destroy the planet with the Galic Gun. So there are levels to it.
