This is especially useful for tall guys because they can’t get their arms behind in my experience but I’m gonna try this out. Thank you for sharing. I’m a flooring guy from Rhode Island. I own Blades Flooring with 35 years experience. I love your videos and I’m CFI certified.

You should fold it in half then roll it up and put it in the corner and roll it out without hardly touching the walls and it's easier to carry it without hitting the walls like you just demonstrated

I've been doing it this way for over 25 yrs I use I strap to tie carpet in half and one too carry like you did I can't do it any other way the weight is transferred evenly and you don't scratch any paint any creases will come out by power streatching anyone saying different doesn't power streach yes even in the winter

It sucks if you cant fold it even . You start to wobble and scratch doors and walls all the way up. I dont use my straps that often

Good idea if it's a soft carpet, but if a stiff back, you will never get them creases out 👍

That’s cool. Usually the safest and best way to carry heavy rolls would be strapping it with a hand truck and having someone lifting it to each steps. But this nice for solos.
