I love this. It takes a real Mensch to make a company culture people trust. It comes from the inside and it's (eventually) infectious. It is pretty common. Not just yelling... threatening with firing over a mistake; all the while the people in charge don't have their stuff in order. Disorganized; lack of safety, unfit working conditions; gaslighting employees with salary; etc... You have a real battle ahead.

I dont tollerate a leader who yells and screams at work. Its not a good motivator either. It festers resentment and distrust.

The problem here is, how do you motivate your employees? What are you talking about when you say yelling and screaming? I do run a business, what I'm curious about is what do you mean by yelling and screaming....what does that look like? I don't yell or scream at my employees.. instead, I have them answer questions that prove they knew better but defaulted into doing shit work. I get results from that but I'm curious what you mean.

I don't bother yelling or screaming. If they are uncoachable, I don't waste my time. If I have to tell them more than 2 times and nothing changes yelling or screaming won't change anything. Many other wants the job
