This was me and my best friends favorite song to jam out to together, he passed away 2 years ago today. Crazy how this song is ironically spot on on how I am having to live without him now. This song is forever very special in my heart.

When you really know it's not a good idea to go back, to love someone so hard that you constantly put into your head that you can't live without that person, that you're so blinded by the reality of it really not working out. people tell me, how can you love someone that's gonna keep trying to kill you, or hurt you in any way? Why didn't you leave sooner? It's gonna be too late. Yes, it is gonna be too late one day, one day if I were to stay and keep going back, I might not be here anymore. So when you try to be brave enough to leave and not look back, songs like this come to play. You get so comfortable with someone to the point where you feel like it's being in love, or you feel like it's Because you love that person. Of course, love was there. Of course there was some sort of happiness, or memory, but is it worth it? To hold on to someone for so long knowing they keep hurting you, or try to harm you in any way. It messes with you so hard, you get so attached to one person, for the small things that made you love this person, to where it's hard to let go. That's where I'm at. Moved state, and to this day I have to put it in my head that I'll never have him, because if I go back it won't change. It's hard grieving over someone who's not even dead. Forcing yourself to do it for the better, but other people who aren't in my head, or in my heart, they don't feel it, what so ever.

I used to listen to this song during a difficult time with my first love when we couldn’t be together as much as we both wanted to. It made me feel really sad but at the same time it gave me hope because I knew we’d eventually be together again.
