When I was growing up in the 70s, there weren't alot of billionaires around. The most famous billionaire I knew of was Howard Hughes, who when he died, was worth around 2.25 billion. J Paul Getty was another one. I thought at the time, what they had was impressive, but Howard Hughes, and J Paul Getty had no where near the kind of wealth these billionaires have. Warren Buffett along with these other billionaires, who built these corporations from the ground up, have the Midas Touch.
