Best advice i can always give about tactical shooters:
1. Gun always out unless you HAVE to use util
2. Unless youre shooting someone or holding an angle always be moving and always move in between shots

A D doesnt usually works but it u have to do it u just need to make sure to time it right when shooting cause this can mess up ur gun shots

Idk what recoil patterns are like in Valorant but in CS:GO you can use smg’s at long to mid range while maintaining mobility which makes you a hard target to hit. Especially P90. If there’s any guns like that in Valorant and you hate standing still, use those

I also move, but for a different reason. I can't stay focused when nothing happenes and i usually start to look at the map more then the angle i am supposed to hold. When i move a bit i need to stay focused to keep my crosshair in place and make sure i dont overpeek by accident.

Another tip:
If you dont know where the enemy players might strike dont hold an angle but peek out the same angle every few seconds. The enemy often peeks out when you are behind the wall passing your angle and when you repeek their crossair is at the next angle or you just stop peeking and get info

When I play online, not even valerent, I unconsciously do this, even in zombie games that have no real ranged enemies. This usually ends up with me getting shot by friendly fire 😅
