The widest is a redcedar at Cheewhat Lake (on Vancouver island) nearly 20 ft (6 m) in diameter. Trees the size of buildings.Even in the area I'm currently living in, there are ancient fossilized trees embedded in river rock, that are literally millions of years old. Ancient viking and, also ancient native land as well.

Those clips were all good. The crime scene footage critter could be a man in a suit BUT I worked as a logger and those trees did not shatter like totally rotten logs when they hit the ground. It's hellishly hard to manhandle any timber from one end like that! Much less slam them down. If it was a dude he was stonger than anyone I ever worked with. Thanks, great video.
