Sweet Dana... just WOW ! Your home is a Christmas dream! I can not even say nor pick a favorite! Everything is amazing !

When our daughters were little there was a Christmas Shop that was in a gorgeous log house. Huge open stairway with the big landing half way up and they would close for one month and open the week of Thanksgiving. They had a staff that would transform the whole open floor plan upstairs into a “Winter Wonderland”. They would have different themes...each ones was like a ombré look that would gently transformed right into another theme! It was INCREDIBLE! So the day after Thanksgiving.... long before I understood “Black Friday insanity “... the girls and I would hit that store FOR HOURS! They would pick a new ornament each year and then out to lunch.... and home to put the tree up!

How I deeply miss those days! I think that store has closed. Owners get old and kids don’t carry on the dream!

I have an “ At Home “ near me...but have never gone in! I love that ribbon that has “ Jingle” on it... when I saw that on your tree... my first thought was I hope she tells us where she got it! Surprise...you opened with the information! I may have to check it out now!

My head is spinning with so many gorgeous Christmas tree ideas! I love your flocked one.. but this one... ARE YOU DOING ANYMORE? LOL!!!!

I invested so much money into my beloved Mercury Glass ornaments in silver and gold from Pottery Barn for our daughter’s Wedding and have slowly added to the number ... I need to stay with those and build off of them!

What a joy to wake up and find a new decorating video from you.
The tree turned out so beautiful. The size of it alone is breathtaking. I see these enormous trees and always wish I had ceilings high enough to accommodate one.
Everything came together perfectly. I heard what you said about not being sure how it's all coming out. I get that way too. But, most of the time, you step back and realize it's perfect.
The fillers add so much interest and dimension to the branches of the tree. And all the ornaments along with them just completed it.

Hi Dana, The tree is absolutely beautiful! I am very fussy with tree decorations and I have seen many trees this season but this is by far one of my favorites. All of your tree trimmings make me so happy. I love your choices. I like the way you did your ribbon. I'm a little intimidated by ribbon. I have always wrapped it and this year (I've noticed that) everyone seems to be tucking and twisting and poufing, so I'm going to try it! I bought a coordinating set of ribbon from Walmart tonight. The red with burlap trim with the narrower white with red trim. The collection from At Home looks really nice and I may try the eucalyptus and lambs ear trend too. Some trends I do like to do.
Cooking someone else's cookies and answering questions sounds like a fun idea.
