We are fully aware that fake videos from our #Arma3 title appear on the internet, pretending to be original videos from various armed conflicts.

I remember when the Ukraine war started back up earlier this year, I was seeing so many A3 videos pop up on serious news sources. The one that struck me was an A-10 that dodges some AA and the kicker is that it was on Tanoa 😆

You know you did a good job making a game when with just a few edits people can mistake it for reality.

I think that if the characters had more realistic movement and didnt ragdoll when they die it would be perfect. Now the bad part is that realistic movement is hard to make! Soldiers put their weapons on the floor, they hold onto things while walking they do too many movements to be saved in game. Only in a vr game with full body tracking and weights attached to the players weapons and body would you be able to create that movement for all gameplay. But aside from that since there are no soldiers on the videos anyone with basic editing skills can create fake news

I like it when since the beginning people claim Arma 3 has bad graphics (to be fair, early Arma 3 had some odd collor pallete). yet at the same time time and time again it's mistaken as IRL footage
