My experience with code breakers on those mission are abysmal low drops. Gotta love the RNG, HOWEVER, there is an infiltration mission "the shelter" where there are 2 champions that can drop it and the last one is in the boss room at the very end. You can farm him for 7 times, since you have 8 lives. Just kill him and let the boss kill you. Obviously kill the boss on the final attempt.
For me this works way better. Hope it helps

Quick note: Open the vaults with friends, because you'll both get the drop when 1 player does the vault.
