You know, this song reminds me of something I hold dear in my heart
Back in January 2018, my cousin made a sleepover, she does them twice a year, one on her birthday and one while its summer.
She invited a lot of her friends and me. I didn't know those kids.
I was like 11 at the time, they were around 9-10
I remember that I was the last one to arrive at my cousin's house, my cousin talked a lot about me in her school, so they probably knew me already, some greeted me and some didn't. I was hella confused at that time
We started to jump on the trampoline and do all stuff we wanted. I accidentally hit my cousin in the face with my leg and she cried like hell. I felt so fucking horrible at the time.
We spent most of the time playing outside because my cousin has a very long yard. It got darker and I was told to search for one of my cousin's friends, I kept looking for her until I found her and we went inside.
One of my cousin's friends brought an Xbox so we could play Minecraft, my cousin had one too. so that means that there could be 8 players in that world.
I remember that I was very aggressive in that world, and I kept killing them for resources.
We played until 1AM before we got told to sleep.
The girls went to my cousin's bedroom, and the boys stayed in the living room. I said that I will protect them from the girls because they tend to make pranks on us or draw things on us.
I kept playing alone for like an hour. And the girls kept trying to make pranks.
I remember this specific song playing while I was awake. It was 2AM and I couldn't take it anymore, and I fell asleep. It was a really peaceful night. I was the first to wake up. And I saw both the TV and the Xbox on.
I quickly turned them off and went to the kitchen and served myself some water while I saw outside the window, looking at the sun rising.
It was around 6AM. Most of the boys woke up, and we decided to take revenge on the girls. and we grabbed pencils and stuff. And drew on their faces. Someone even drew on a half of a girl's face.

A few months ago, I got some really bad news
My uncle and aunt divorced.
And my aunt stole almost everything in the house.
I was devasted. Like, what would happen if I didn't get to see my cousin again?
They are now living in another house and they are planning to start fresh in another town when my cousin finishes elementary school.

I'm guessing no one will read this, but if you do, spend time with your loved ones, one day, they will disappear and you will probably never know them again, please.

Edit: Looks like theyre staying in my hometown, and i get to see her every weekend! Lifes good ya know.

I don't have many memories with Minecraft. I'm 25 and thus was a bit too old for it when it released, and I never dabbled much in the game. However, my little brother who is 10 years my junior was obsessed with it. I remember these sweet melodies wafting through the house as he played this game for hours.

However, one of the happiest moments in gaming for me was when I was with the first girl I ever loved. We dated for 3 years and the first time she came over to meet my family, my little brother was playing Minecraft; this song was on. He's autistic and incredibly shy, but she instantly went over to him, picked up a controller, and began building with him. She was a fan of the game and he was in awe; they bonded for hours together playing this game while I watched and smiled, occasionally joining in with them. Mostly I just enjoyed the moment; my brother connecting with another human, a girl I loved exposing a beautiful side of herself as she bonded with a shy kid, and this gorgeous music glueing it all together as they built sand castles on the misty shoreline.

Wish I could go back. Wish we ALL could go back.

The fact that this sound track wasn’t really planned to be put in the game makes it so much better…

I get three feelings from this song
1. Sadness
2. Loneliness
3. Inner peace

When this played during the trailer, I felt an emotion I can't describe. I can't really believe my eyes.

The first tree you break
The first tool you make
The first mob you killed
The first house you build
The first deep dark cavern
The first diamond that you earn
The first portal you light
The first fortress in sight
The first eye you throw
The first stronghold you go
The first dragon you braved
The first End you saved

To do it all again,
A world with a new name.
The first time, back then...
It will never be the same.
