* Snow Squall Warning for...
Southern Will County in northeastern Illinois...
Northeastern Kankakee County in northeastern Illinois...
Porter County in northwestern Indiana...
Central Lake County in northwestern Indiana...

* Until 1030 AM CST.

* At 933 AM CST, a dangerous snow squall was located near Peotone,
moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Whiteout conditions. Zero visibility in snow and blowing
snow. Wind gusts greater than 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.

Including the following interstates...
I-55 between mile markers 234 and 244.
I-57 between mile markers 324 and 337.
Indiana I-80 between mile markers 12 and 16.
Indiana I-90 between mile markers 20 and 36.
Indiana I-94 between mile markers 16 and 32.
Indiana I-65 between mile markers 241 and 260.

Locations impacted include...
Gary, Portage, Merrillville, Valparaiso, Schererville, Hobart, Crown
Point, Park Forest, Chesterton, Channahon, Cedar Lake, Steger,
Lowell, Braidwood, Wilmington, Coal City, Peotone, Hebron, Griffith
and Dyer.

Consider avoiding or delaying travel until the snow squall passes
