Peter Boyle spent his golden years making everybody laugh, that's amazing. Good scene, one of his best. Ray is good here too. RIP FRANK

The performance from Peter is amazing. Not only is it the anger of the working man, but it's the anger he had to do it. It was practical for him and benefited to him and the betterment of his home, but it came at the cost of his wife's enjoyment. He knows this and he's angry he had to do it, and angry she's angry about it. His expression and yelling is so good.

They had seen 200 actresses when they saw Patricia for Debra. She was flustered and tense because she really had to get out of there, home to her kids. And her frazzled read was so perfect there was no discussion. That’s her!!

I'll say this about Ray & team - They knew how to make a joke work in a serious scene without it being annoying. I miss this show. And Peter Boyle, Doris Roberts, Sawyer Sweeten ... 💕

Loved this show so much!! I personally was on Frank's side during this argument! Yes, he'd been less empathetic towards Marie alot of times but he had her on this occasion yet feel it communication was desperately needed lol

frank did have a good point, true women take care of the household chores and the kids but men do work as well that pays the bills that keeps a roof over their heads, gratitude is a two way street in any relationship/marriage
