Just bought one from amz, myAsus states there's a fan issue, and actually I can hear only one fan spinning, the "black" one in the video, the other one near the right side seems dead, thanks to this video I will be able to take a look, doesn't seems to be too difficult fortunately.

I was wondering, are the fans removable without lifting the heatsink? I'd imagine a liquid metal or some fancy thermopaste used there, which I don't want to mess with. Cleaning the fans and the fins should be enough for basic maintenance.
