In this video I walk you through how to conduct a frequency response measurement in ARTA.

Measurements shown in the video were done on the 1159 Stand mount speaker using a horn loaded SB Acoustics SB29RBNC tweeter and SB15NRX2C30-4 woofer.

Mic Distance is 80cm from the speaker baffle on-axis with the tweeter.

Awesome video! I gave up trying to use ARTA because I didn't know what the hell I was doing. I'm looking forward to trying again thanks to your video!

I appreciate what you're doing here. Thank you

Thanks! The critical point is the time gating.

Don't forget to load your microphone calibration before measuring!

Hey thanks. This worked well for me. I also used a PC, calibrated dayton audio umic6, and an 808 HEX speaker through the aux drive to boost the S/N. I get a nice gated pulse for the speaker response. Also when I use no gate I can easily measure all 3 of the the axial room modes which match my hand calculations. Also the REW and AMROC room model matches the other higher order modes. Now the fun begins! I may try with my android as well.

Can ARTA be used with MiniDSP's UNIK-1?
I heard something abot lacking in calibration(?).

How do you set up dual channel measurements in ARTA? That's what I've been trying to figure out for years.

Please, anyone can point me to some sample ARTA files to be downloaded? Thanks.

Why Arta and Rew make different measures?

Great tutorial, however, why use a paid program like ARTA when REW does all the same and for free?
