Hello guys
I will show you a quick little workflow on how to get your cameratrack from Davinci Resolve Fusion into blender.
In blender we tweak a few settings in order to get the correct scale, position overall look.
From here you can rebuild the scene with geometry and insert your own 3D models.
I will also show you how to UV project an video clip onto your geometry.
Blender is free and awesome.

Footage from the awesome @Kenan Proffitt youtube channel. He does the cameratrack inside blender.
Thanks to @Midgardsormr and @ShadowMaker SdR from the "We Suck Less" Forum for helping and pointing me in the right direction

I cant see the background image in Bleder. I've tried everything from playing with every single background image setting to changing perspectives and modes. when i click movie clip it doesnt automatically use the tracked footage like in the tutorial, it opens the finder and i have to search for a movie file.

Is it possible to export the points that were tracked in Davinci as empties or planes?

Hi! I have problem with export
In fusion camera motion is stable and nice, but in blender it is shaky. Do you know why? Can you please help me?

I do have one question tho, is this available to do in the free version of Da Vinci Resolve?

Isn't scaling up via 3DTransform by 100, followed by scaling down in FBXExporter by 0.1 the same thing as just scaling up the FBX Exporter by 10?

is it also possible to export tracking points and not camera tracker?

Great tutorial - thank you! When importing into blender, it seems to either compress time to 720 frames (from 820 frames) or it only imports 720 frames. I thought "compress time" because the 3D objects almost immediately get out of sync with the video background. Any ideas? Thank you!

This is 1st class. Why it took me so long to find I don't know. 🙄

Thanks for the tutorial. I have shot some footage on a green screen with a moving camera. I need to have a motion track for the background so it matches the movement in the actual footage I have filmed. I have tried to use the Camera Tracker in fusion for the main clip I filmed, so I could then take the data and pop it on the background which then would match the same movement. Is this possible, and if so how do I do it? I have tried to copy and paste the nodes from Fusion, this did not work, and I tried to copy the first clip and past attributes, that did not work either.

Great tutorial. Thank you for making it simple.👍
I have a question on my mind, Is there a way to export the new mesh tracking data from davinci(studio) to blender? the use of it will be for using facial data to 3d face model.

This tutorial is way to imcomplete. Fast foorward parts and missing important things.. where the "render all savers" file created the fbx? no one knows. You did not tell. Next time if you want to make a tutorial make sure is complete.

- Why accelerate some parts?
- Don't put the frame rate at 30 in the fbx exporter: put THE SAME AS YOUR VIDEO.
