I think tbh too, not only can you get pretty far without a perfect team in regular tourneys. But also every few theres traitless ones which is pretty as close to fair as its gonna get in this game. (Assuming your a longterm player atleast and dont just have 1 team tho lel)

If u are not using the unique leavy u can swap traits with difrent unit in the play arr if u make a wist and then do swap traits
