I love how Rory constantly demonstrates that he's in touch with the real world, where most people have very limited funds and a new car purchase is a real stretch. Very good review. I also love the way he demonstrates common sense, which is actually not that common anymore. In this video he points out where some of the cheapness could be dangerous, especially to children's fingers. Good one, Rory. I remember my father telling me that he once cut his hand on some exposed metal on the underside of a seat in a Ford, which led him to dislike the brand. More recently, I recall stories of children losing their fingers when folding down some children's furniture.

I just love Dacia, in a world where everyone is trying to sell you fake luxury they just sell practicality.

I needed a 7 seater and pre-ordered the comfort model. 16k can't go wrong at that price. I lost more in depreciation in 3 years on my last car than this one costs.

Cracking, balanced, honest, fact and info filled, non-sniffy review of a real car that real people will want to own cos they can afford one or cannot afford a smug-bus Audi or similar. Shame about the noise in the car though.. Rory, you really are the king of giving a review where the car is the subject, and your words and personality are tuned to the review, and not the other way round. Always go to your reviews first and trust them the most. 5 stars.

That “Transformer” roof rack is totally brilliant! (Some manufacturers only offer roof rack& bar systems for hundreds of pounds extra in some cases!) Well done, clever design Dacia!👍

Cars have become wildly expensive and it makes me happy to see that Dacia builds cars so that everyone can be in the road.

To be honest, this won't be my next car, but for a Dacia and considering the price and practicability, it doesn't look terrible.

Saw one the other day at my local dealer. The model had a day nav, metallic paint and another extra on top of the standard equipment. It was also a bi-fuel, petrol and log all for €18500, which is around £15600 which for what it is, is very good.

What a fabulous review! No badge snobbery, no trying to be clever, just honest opinion - love it. I shall really look out for Rory's reviews in future.

Outstanding value for a 7 seater. A bit harsh on the design critique, I'd rather that design than another cross over. It's very well designed and u can understand where they've had to cut corners to keep the price down

All credit to Dacia - they know there place in the market, and despite being the butt of some jokes, sell cars at a price point that works for a significant percentage of buyers. Dacia have slotted into the market where Kia/Hyundai have moved on from as they try to work their way into much higher profit vehicles. You just will not get a better value 5 seater, let alone 7 seater, in the UK market today. Period. Well done Dacia.

Not my cup of tea, but I've no need for a 7 seater. If you were a family with 4+ kids, this would be a no brainer, especially if funds were tight (likely if you have 4+ kids). Totally functional, has everything you "need". Good job Dacia.

Rory, great honest review; a proper family car that is cheap, flexible, well engineered and with small copromises which do not lessen its amazing value for money!

I drove past Rory, twice, while he was filming this. I felt bad interupting the film but I got a handshake from him out of it.

We lot of 7 seaters (e.g. carens, s-max) were replaced by SUVs, so this fills a great niche. As far as infotainment, as long as it does android auto, I don't think it's a big differentiator now. Looks good too.

Dacias really are brilliant. I own a 2010 4x4 Duster which is utterly perfect for everyday activities. It's got plenty of cargo and passenger space, high ground clearance and the Diesel version has got plenty of power. And it's great for going off-road from time to time. On top of that, it's very cheap to repair, so you won't be worried about scratching it or something similar.

I'm mostly a Vauxhall/Opel guy. That said, I like the fact that the Jogger seems to be quite affordable and very good value. With car prices and wait times for new cars going crazy it's good to see that there are some new releases that don't require you to loan away half your soul.

This man is capable of making me excited about basically any car…

It's like a stepway and xc90 morphed into some kind of skoda roomster estate kind of thing lol Great for the price, though! And although the dash has some cheap plastics they have made it look better than a few other more expensive (cheap) cars.

I think ex Yeti owners will flock to this, especially if they fitted a chunky Ren DCi! Don't miss a trick Dacia! Great vlog as usual Rory. 👍👍
