The Way Lorenzo Hunt fights reminds me of back in the dayz in NYC 52block a lot guys I grew up with knew this style of fighting.

This is the perfect environment for 52blocks it closely mimics the environment it was created in and it's intended style of use. Using boxing gloves take away from it and what makes it unque. It is also a good environment for it to evolve as it faces other ways of fighting done by pro fighters. Much the way boxing evolved into a new style of boxing that works better in MMA.

52blocks is a survival prison fighting style. In real life situations it is meant to be brutal. Training involves strength the body and being mentally alert, forcus and quick thinking. Mind and body working together. Fight smart, not waste energy. Concept same as Shotokan Karate-Do - one hit knock out. In old school karate... End the fight as soon as possible. Destroyed, cripple, broke the bone, damage is the goal, dislocate the joint of the opponent. High degree of discipline needed for skilled fighters cause the fighting styles that are brutally was meant for life and death situations.

Boxing gloves make defense really static and boring, but you get to see some technical blocking patterns in this sport.

I first heard about The 52 when I was about 10 years old and there was a fight in front of my house down here in Louisiana between my friend and much bigger guy, and my friend used the "skull & crossbones" and the "robber mask" and off it he threw a misdirection punch and knocked the big guy out cold, and I asked my friend "what was that" and he said the "JailHouse Rock", come to find out years later after the internet came about and the style became more popular to the world that it was just a Southern spin of 52Blocks, it blew my mind when I looked into it🔥🔥💯💯
