WWE 2K22: GM Mode Leaked?!

A new article from Mike Straw of Sports Gamers Online claims his source has told him GM Mode is returning in WWE 2K22.

According to the article the developers working on the game have long wanted to see the mode return to the series and thought WWE 2K22 presented the perfect opportunity for that following a year off in 2020.

A 2K Sports representative provided the following response when asked for comment:
"We don’t have any additional info to share on WWE 2K22 but we’ll be revealing all the details in January. We’ll be sure to keep you posted."

Things I’m hoping to see in the game:
-GM mode
-Custom Music for the jukebox/entrance
-Special Guest Referee
-Create a finisher/move
-Import Custom Characters from the previous 2k game. (WWE2K20)

Any of these that you all want to see?

Edit: I would like to see more difficulties because whe you’ve leaned the controls the hardest difficulty will feel like your playing on easy.

This could be a huge selling point for the game and it would attrack so many players who had given up on the franchise. Good idea!

As someone who enjoys the freedom of Universe Mode I'm more uncertain than excited as I see the old GM Modes vertical restricting. I'll wait to see it but I generally like having control over what shows I have, number of ppvs, which belts I use on which show, & so on.

I never get why GM mode is so popular. It was never a big part of WWE and was only ever in 1 game. I can't remember it even being that good?

Gm mode was so damn fun man you just don’t understand how many times I had to restart my gm because I lost certain superstars kept me engage every week and also they kept me pushing everybody to win everyone is content and frustrated but can’t wait

I’m fine with GM Mode being in the game once they keep Universe Mode in. They are different modes GM is a competitive mode between both shows & Universe is a sandbox type mode that lets you control everything. I was never into GM Mode back in the day once they keep universe in I will be a happy camper
