This is a 4th Gen 2012 Ram 3500 6.7 Cummins turbo diesel. I compared a 4in turbo back with a stock muffler and MBRP muffler delete.

The sound in the cab driving is barely noticeable until you floor it then it get roudy.

This brought my EGTs down an average of 50⁰F or so. Fuel mileage has also increased slightly with the average fuel monitoring recovery happening alot faster after dropping a trailer load.

Hope this helps!

So in exactly one week I have turbo back exhaust coming for my 6-7 Cummins. I fully plan on leaving my factory muffler on because I don't want my truck to be outrageously loud. I am already looking at it being more efficient and less restrictive after it lost some weight. And the muffler seeing that it's a straight through and all it does is absorbed the sound pulses I don't suspect is going to be that much of a restriction that will cause me to lose that much performance or MPG.

So I’m in the same situation, I just have the stock muffler on my truck and I want this delete pipe, how is the cab drone? I don’t care but I don’t want my passengers to suffer🤣

I have the same truck, I recently got the same muffler delete but I am having trouble putting it on. It doesnt seem to align to the turbo back correctly. Did you have this problem, if so how did you get around it? Thanks
