What many of you may not know, is that this song is based on a real story.
There really was a Georgian painter Niko Firosmani, who fell in love with a French ballerina/actress and sold all of his possessions to buy roses for her.
You should really look him up, y'all. He had such an unique art style.

In Korean, the song lyrics are quirky and adorable. It is about a person who came from a different star who was sent on a mission to grow a million roses in order to come back home. He realized that the roses only grew as a result of true love. So in the end, he fell in love, but his goal was to go home back to his planet. I didn't realize the actual lyrics were so horribly depressing.
