I was fighting wildfire and nowhere near a McDonald’s when this event happened, but wanted the wings and primos. So I made a pickup order to get the code, and then called into the store and told them to give the meal and apple pie to an employee that needed it for lunch.

Location doesn’t stop you from limited time regional events, but you won’t be getting what you order when you do it. Just make sure to let them know to give the food away if you can so it doesn’t go to waste 🙏🏻
