the 1st boat i use to make
for better performance MAKE THE STRAW i.e. connected to ballon . into the water so tgat the air will also be required less !

I am currently trying to do something very similar to this, but expecting issues glueing the boats together. What would you suggest to strengthen the connection between bottles? (Btw I am using a moreso square shaped bottle. Find that curved bottles were hard to glue and connect)

My favorite was the rubber band boat. However the balloon boat would probably be more effective if you used a condom in the place of the balloon because that can accommodate more air giving the boat itself the likelihood of traveling a much farther distance.

additional tipps:

for the first one:
i think, it looks better to glue the straw with the balloon on in the other direction on (you also can place the wooden piece near to the bottoms of the bottles), because the top ents of the bottles look like the front end of a boat.

for the second one:
a longer piece of styrofoam (lenght about twice as wide) may look better and carve the two small rear pieces also pointy at their front.

for the fourth one:
cit the bottom edges at the front off like seen at the second one
