Greetings, I'm a new subscriber to your channel and very entertaining it is too! I live in Salford (it seemed a good idea at the time ) and I rode those passes a few years ago on my Honda CB500 with no issues. Absolutely stunning ride I agree. Time for a revisit on my old GS1200 I reckon. I have to say that Wales has an awful lot to offer in riding pleasure as well, but Scotland is calling....I mainly use Google maps, which I reckon is brilliant considering the price! The programmers definitely have a sense of humour though. I have also been a Itchy Boots fan boy since she first started and she is phenomenal, because she works very hard at producing interesting content with high production values considering she is on her own. No pressure for her then. i enjoy yours Sheldon, because your trips are for the rest of us mere mortals! I can do that! Thanks for your work. Cheers.

Another cracking ride out in lovely sunny weather! NOT! Lol. My sat nav seems to have a mind of its own, just like yours.🤔. As for the gloves thing check out a pair of, Segura Gonzalez. 👍.

Rode the hardknot pass In the 90's on a gsxr1100 with the wife as pillion, not easy but great fun, I've also done it on a goldwing 👍

Yep, got to agree with you about satnav, mine has taken me down "roads" I'm not even sure were meant for motorcycles or cars, looked more like cycle tracks. I'd love to give up work as well and just ride and upload videos to YouTube, sadly don't even know where to start with editing videos or what software to use so will just have to stick my boring job as a Master Technician fixing cars

Old age?? Ill swop you as, I'm 69 in a few weeks! Lol. I also use some heated gloves, they have a battery and last about four hours + on the middle setting out of five. I think they were about £50 off Amazon. Hopefully the weather is improving so, heated gear won't be needed 🤞.

Nice video, Sheldon. Itchy Boots is ok but perhaps you could rebrand yourself Itchy Pants - the biker from Bolton with the restless trousers? Sounds like a winner to me 😀

Never had the sat nav flipping North to South as you have, but the unexpected right or left turn that turns out to be just a bend is usually because the road name changes at that point. It must assume that if the road name changes, its a junction.
